USA : Increase in mortgage applications

Applications for home mortgages in the United States are distributed ahead last week. According to figures released Wednesday by the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), the initial loan applications rose 8.2% over seven days, adjusted, after a decline of 12% a fortnight ago. Applications for refinancing loans, which had declined over 16% two weeks ago, show an increase of 14.5%.
